After move: Which clubs were still in talks for David Alaba?
After three months without a club, David Alaba is now under contract in Serie A. Previously, several clubs were reportedly interested in signing the ÖFB captain.
David Alaba has been under contract with Udinese Calcio in the Italian Serie A since the end of September.
There was also reportedly interest from several top Italian clubs in the ÖFB captain.
This was reported by journalist Mauro Corno of "sportal.it" to the "Krone".
Alaba Too Old?
According to reports, Lazio, Inter Milan, and Juventus, among others, were interested in a possible signing of the 34-year-old. Ultimately, however, Alaba's age likely spoke against a transfer.
However, Italian clubs are certainly known for signing experienced players. Examples include Kevin De Bruyne and Luka Modric.
