16-year-old Matteo Maric moved from the Salzburg Red Bull Academy to FC Bayern Munich this summer.

On Saturday, in the preliminary round of the DFB-U19-Nachwuchsliga, he celebrated his first two goals in the Munich jersey.

Quick Brace

Maric gave Bayern a 1-0 lead against SGV Heilbronn-Freiberg in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute, he extended the lead to 3-0. In between, teammate Philipp von Taube scored to make it 2-0 (14th minute).

Maric was substituted in the 72nd minute. Shortly thereafter, Bayern's Simon Schaff sealed the 4-0 final score with his goal (73rd minute).

ÖFB youth international Maric already made a brief appearance in July for the Munich second team in the fourth-tier Regionalliga Bayern.
