For Bayern's Konrad Laimer, the test match against RB Leipzig (3:1) on Saturday was already over after just a few minutes.

The Austrian international collided with Leipzig's David Raum in the early stages of the game and then clutched his thigh. The 29-year-old could not continue playing and had to leave the pitch – supported by the medical staff.

Eberl on Laimer's Injury

"Konny took a knock relatively early on. It then swelled up quite quickly. That's why he was taken off as a precaution," said Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl after the game.

"It was already the case that he couldn't walk anymore, he had to be supported. You could see that. He wasn't moving smoothly at all. How long it will take, I really can't say today," said the Bayern official.

Kim with Thigh Problems, Musiala Collapsed

There were also concerns surrounding central defender Min-jae Kim and attacking player Jamal Musiala. Kim had to be substituted in the 70th minute due to thigh problems.

Musiala suddenly collapsed in the final phase of the game. Teammates and medical staff immediately rushed to him. After minutes of treatment, the 23-year-old was able to leave the pitch independently, even though he was visibly dazed.

"He's doing well, that's the most important thing," said Eberl after the match, which was played in sweltering 33-degree Celsius heat.

Musiala had previously scored the goal to make it 3:1 (81st minute). Luis Diaz (13th minute) and new signing Nathaniel Brown (57th minute) also scored for the Munich team. Brajan Gruda equalized for Leipzig in the meantime (52nd minute).

Bayern will play their final pre-season friendly on Tuesday against 1. FC Heidenheim (6:00 PM). The following Saturday, they will face Borussia Dortmund in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup.
