The German Bundesliga will in the future be broadcast by a rather prominent Englishman.

Jamie Vardy has secured the rights to seven Friday matches of the 2026/27 Bundesliga season and will provide live commentary for them on his YouTube channel "Jamie Vardy’s Having a Party". The offer is, however, exclusively aimed at fans in Great Britain and Ireland.

Vardy streams with Christian Fuchs

For today's opening match between FC Bayern and VfB Stuttgart (8:30 PM in the LIVE ticker), Vardy will receive prominent support: his first guest is none other than former ÖFB captain Christian Fuchs.

The now 40-year-old played alongside Vardy at Leicester City and sensationally celebrated the English league title with the "Foxes" in 2016. Furthermore, Fuchs is very familiar with the German Bundesliga.

The Austrian played for VfL Bochum, 1. FSV Mainz 05, and FC Schalke 04, making a total of 183 Bundesliga appearances.

Vardy and Fuchs will jointly follow and comment on the match as part of a live watchalong. The other six Bundesliga matches that Vardy is permitted to broadcast will be announced during the season.
