Jean-Luc Dompe was one of HSV's promotion heroes.
With nine goals and 14 assists in the 2024/25 promotion season, the Frenchman was instrumental in the club's return to the German top flight.
However, since January 2026, when the 31-year-old was caught driving under the influence and subsequently had to surrender his driver's license, things haven't been going smoothly. After a strong first half of the season, his sporting form also took a downturn.
Dompe moves to Turkey
During preseason, the Hamburg club finally decided to terminate the cooperation one year before the contract's expiry.
Now, a buyer has been found for the winger. He signs a contract with Süper Lig club Konyaspor until 2028.
