Ex-Sturm Player Set for Move to Klose's Club
The striker recently scored for the first time in Germany, but a loan move is now imminent.
William Böving has not yet truly arrived in the German Bundesliga.
The 23-year-old Dane moved from SK Sturm Graz to 1. FSV Mainz 05 last summer for 3.5 million euros. However, in 18 appearances for the 05ers last season, Böving only managed one assist and no goals.
Böving has had a better start to the new season. The striker scored his first goal in Germany in the 9-0 DFB Pokal victory against VfV Krieschow, but a transfer is now imminent.
As "Sky" reports, the Dane is now set to be loaned to 2. Bundesliga side 1. FC Nürnberg, coached by Miroslav Klose. However, the team of the former Altach coach is not expected to have a purchase option.
