Union Berlin can reportedly soon look forward to a new record sale.

As "Sky" and "Kicker" report, the German Bundesliga club has accepted a multi-million euro offer from Hull City for Ilyas Ansah.

This could bring in more than 20 million euros for Union Berlin. The striker is expected to sign a contract with the Premier League club valid until 2031.

Would Likely Be New Record Sale

The reported sums of the offer differ; "Sky" writes of a total of 24 million euros including bonus payments, while according to the "Kicker," 17 million are to be transferred immediately to Berlin, with another four million euros potentially following.

That would be enough for a new record sale in the club's history. Taiwo Awoniyi currently holds this record, having moved to Nottingham Forest for 20.5 million euros in 2022/23.

The contract extension with youth player Tim Blaszczak is already finalized; he will be loaned out to Regionalliga club Luckenwalde at the same time.
