With Clause: Future of Bayern Star Likely Settled

The 33-year-old Englishman moved from Tottenham to the German record champions in summer 2023 for 95 million euros. In 154 competitive matches, the striker has scored an incredible 152 goals and provided 34 assists.
Lengthy Contract Term
However, as his contract in Munich is only valid until summer 2027, Max Eberl, Christoph Freund and co. have been working on an extension for weeks. Meanwhile, everything points to a breakthrough, as multiple media outlets are consistently reporting.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern are said to have been willing to make concessions. The 122-cap England international will thus receive an unusually long contract for a 33-year-old, extending until 2029, as well as a release clause.
Exit Option for the Premier League?
Kane is therefore reportedly demanding a limited clause that would allow him to return to the Premier League. Additionally, his former club Tottenham, for whom Kane played from 2013 to 2023, is said to receive a "matching right".
However, the exact amount of the release clause is likely still being negotiated. According to Romano, an extension is "within reach".
