Atalanta ties down international long-term

Atalanta Bergamo extends the contract with Giorgio Scalvini. The 22-year-old center-back signs a new deal with the Lombards until 2031.

Scalvini moved from Brescia to Bergamo during his youth, and his market value is now 38 million Euros. He is an Italian international (nine caps to date). In 144 appearances for Atalanta so far, Scalvini has scored eight goals and provided six assists.

However, he has also struggled with injuries in the past. Due to an ACL tear, Scalvini missed Euro 2024 with Italy, and in the following season, he injured his shoulder.
