BVB: Concern Over Injured Konstantelias

Suspected ACL tear

"The doctor tested it (the knee, editor's note) and he doesn't have a good feeling. We will have an MRI scan tomorrow. We are assuming a serious knee injury. It's very sad," said BVB coach Niko Kovac visibly saddened at the press conference after the match.

"We actually fear the worst," said Sporting Director Lars Ricken in the mixed zone. According to "BILD" information, there is a suspicion of an ACL tear. Kovac: "He (Konstantelias, editor's note) told me as he left the pitch that he heard a crack."

As he headed to the locker room, Inacio, out of frustration, threw a water bottle onto the ground in the player tunnel. He then picked it up and hurled the bottle against a large BVB crest on the wall.
