Swiss International Set for Germany Move
Union Berlin is looking for a central midfielder. The 'Köpenicker' still need to compensate for the departure of Alex Král.
Michel Aebischer is expected to fill the gap in central midfield. The 29-year-old was loaned from Bologna to Pisa in Serie A last season with an obligation to buy.
According to Italian media reports, Aebischer has already agreed terms with Union Berlin. In Serie A, the Swiss international was an undisputed regular starter.
The midfielder made four appearances for Switzerland and reached the quarterfinals with the 'Nati'.
At Union Berlin, he would meet, among others, Christopher Trimmel and Leopold Querfeld.
