Paris Saint-Germain secured a narrow 2-1 victory over Olympique Marseille on Matchday 5 of Ligue 1.

The champions struggled for a long time in "Le Classique" against a weakened OM, before Ferran Torres put the visitors ahead in the 66th minute.

The hosts equalized shortly after through Angel Gomes (72'), but their celebrations were short-lived as Marquinhos restored PSG's lead shortly thereafter (75'). Just two minutes later, Timothy Weah was shown a yellow-red card for Olympique.

In their narrow away victory, PSG proved to be anything but efficient in front of goal: In the second half alone, Luis Enrique's team registered an xG value of 3.5.

Meanwhile, OGC Nice halted LOSC Lille's winning streak. "Les Aiglons" secured a 2-1 victory, celebrating their first win of the season. For "Les Dogues", it marked their first defeat.
