Following their dismal 1-9 defeat against Como in the Champions League midweek, RC Lens have suffered another setback.
On matchday 10 of Ligue 1, Lens lost 2-1 to Olympique Marseille.
The visitors got off to a dream start, with Gouiri putting Marseille ahead as early as the second minute.
However, Lens responded well and fought back after the early deficit. Thauvin leveled the score at 1-1 with his strike.
Marseille strike late
Marseille subsequently took control and were clearly the better side. However, the go-ahead goal was a long time coming, before Abdallah provided the winner for the visitors in the 82nd minute.
That was how it stayed. Baidoo played the full 90 minutes.
The result leaves Lens 11th in the table, while Marseille occupy fourth place.
