Official! Premier League confirms Man City financial breaches
Much has been written in recent days, and now the league confirms the reports and Manchester City's culpability. The club has also commented.
It's official now!
Manchester City has been found guilty on all charges by the English Premier League. The league announced this on Tuesday.
An independent commission has now confirmed that the "Citizens" violated the league's financial rules in 115 instances over a period of nine seasons between 2009 and 2018 (All info >>>).

The club now has until Friday (October 2) to appeal the findings. The Premier League confirms that the entire process should be concluded as quickly as possible.
According to the league, City has violated, among others, the following rules:
False sponsorship agreements to artificially inflate the club's revenues and thus save costs.
Submitted false invoices to conceal true finances from accounting and football regulators.
Significantly breached the spending limits of the Premier League and UEFA.
Sanctions will be decided in a separate hearing.
Manchester City Reacts
Shortly after, Manchester City also issued a statement to the public, expressing "disappointment" and "surprise" at the league's statement.
"The club is innocent of the Premier League's allegations, and there is comprehensive and irrefutable evidence supporting its position in this case. The club will therefore act unyieldingly and, where necessary, proactively in all relevant regulatory and legal bodies," the club writes.
City now intends to "exhaust all available legal avenues, as the judgment contains clear material errors in relation to law, principles, and facts, and is therefore untenable."
Furthermore, the club remains fully convinced of its innocence: "The club has diligently observed the procedural rules for eight years, assuming that the Premier League Board and management would act as an independent, impartial, and fair regulatory body, free from political influence."
