Glasner speaks plainly: "Then a sixth coach will come"
Oliver Glasner issues a stern warning to his team after the defeat in Brentford. Either his instructions are followed - or a new coach will come.
Oliver Glasner is stuck in the Premier League's relegation zone with Nottingham Forest.
The 0-2 loss at Brentford (Match report >>>) was their fifth defeat in nine games; only AFC Sunderland has fewer points than the "Cottagers" on their record.
"It's very frustrating," Oliver Glasner tells "Sky Sports." "Every week the same, it always follows the same pattern. After today, it's absolutely clear that we need to change something, even several things."
He sees himself responsible for this: "I have to change a few things. I will do that 100 percent. We cannot continue like this."
Sharp Criticism
His team makes too many mistakes in defense, such as before the 0-1. "It was already the fourth goal after a long ball from the goalkeeper. Something like that must not happen," laments the Upper Austrian.
He elaborates: "We knew exactly what would happen, but then we are too slow and make the same mistakes. And it's always different players."
His attacking department, the weakest in the Premier League, also does not escape unscathed. "One can say we were good, created a few chances. But if you constantly miss chances, that's also a pattern," emphasizes the 52-year-old.
They are not decisive and good enough in front of goal, that's his conclusion.
No More Time for Compromises
Since his arrival in Nottingham, "a few things" have caught his attention with which Glasner was not necessarily satisfied.
"Sometimes I felt that I had made too many compromises," he says. That's over now. "Now is not the time to make compromises, but to set a clear path. Everyone must follow this path," Glasner clarifies.
"And if they don't want to follow, then the sixth coach will come."
