Barca reportedly lands Arsenal striker
Gabriel Jesus' move to FC Barcelona is reportedly imminent.
FC Barcelona is expected to strengthen its attack once again, making a move in the Premier League. The Catalans are on the verge of signing Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 29-year-old Brazilian is expected for a medical on Monday. The Gunners are reportedly set to receive 10 million euros plus potential bonuses, with Jesus's contract still running until next year. In Barcelona, the striker will sign a two-year deal with an option for an additional season.
Another Attacker for Barca's Frontline
It would be the first foreign club outside of the island for the 64-cap Brazil international. After five and a half years at Manchester City, he joined Arsenal in 2022. Since then, Jesus has scored 32 goals and assisted 22 others for the Gunners in 123 games.
However, due to a cruciate ligament tear, he missed almost the entire calendar year 2025 and was no longer a regular starter afterwards.
For Barcelona, however, it would be another attacking player signed in the transfer market this summer. Previously, Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United and Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund, among others, had already joined.
