Tottenham loses without Danso against Jaissle's Newcastle
The ex-Salzburg coach's team seals the deal in the second half.
Tottenham Hotspur has had an absolutely disastrous start to the new Premier League season.
After the "Spurs" lost 0:3 to Brentford on the first matchday, they now suffer a 0:2 defeat against Newcastle United in round two.
Without Kevin Danso, who was not in the squad, Tottenham showed a better first half, but without truly creating clear-cut chances.
In the second half, Anthony Elanga put Newcastle ahead (62.) after an assist from former Salzburg player Amar Dedic. Ten minutes later, Yoane Wissa sealed the deal for Matthias Jaissle's team (72.).
While Newcastle is provisionally third with four points, the "Spurs" are without a point at the bottom of the table.
