According to consistent media reports, midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi is on the verge of a move to the "Sky Blues". A total package of 100 million euros is reportedly being discussed as a transfer fee for the 18-year-old from OSC Lille.
It is now reported that a full agreement has been reached, and the Moroccan World Cup player is expected to travel to England for a medical check soon. The holding midfielder was already absent from Lille's squad for their away game against Angers on Sunday.
Rodri's Successor
In Enzo Maresca's team, the youngster is expected to take on the challenging task of succeeding Rodri, who moved to FC Barcelona. City has already unveiled a new midfielder this transfer window in Elliot Anderson (for 135 million euros from Nottingham).
Bouaddi comes from Lille's youth academy, but at just 18 years old, he has already made 96 appearances for the Ligue 1 club.
