Kevin Danso could leave Tottenham Hotspur before the end of the transfer window.

The Austrian international has submitted a transfer request to Spurs coach Roberto De Zerbi and is set for a move within the Premier League to AFC Sunderland.

Should the deal go through, the London club would have to reinforce their squad in central defence. They have reportedly already found a possible solution.

Chelsea Defender as Replacement

According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have set their sights on Tosin Adarabioyo. The 28-year-old Englishman is under contract with FC Chelsea, but currently has a difficult time under new coach Xabi Alonso.

Adarabioyo has recently been left out of the "Blues'" matchday squad on several occasions. A move within the Premier League could therefore be an option for both parties.

At Chelsea since 2024

Adarabioyo moved to Chelsea from Fulham on a free transfer in 2024 and has since made 72 competitive appearances for the Londoners. The centre-back scored seven goals during this time.

Should Danso's move to Sunderland actually materialise, Adarabioyo could soon follow in the footsteps of the Austrian at league rivals Tottenham.
