Arsenal remains flawless against Danso and Sunderland
The reigning champions win their fourth league match of the young season.
Arsenal FC remains unbeatable!
The "Gunners" deservedly win 2-0 against Sunderland FC in the fourth round of the Premier League. Bruno Guimaraes is the man of the match with his goal after the break. Austrian defender Kevin Danso plays the full ninety minutes in central defence.
Arsenal dominates the game from the first minute. What's missing in the first half, however, is the final touch in front of goal. Havertz gets two good shots away but misses on both occasions (31'/34').
Raya saves penalty
After the break, the underdog gets a great chance to take the lead. A foul by Konsa results in a penalty: but La Fee fails to beat Raya (56').
Almost immediately, the "Gunners" punish this lapse in concentration as Guimaraes smashes the ball off the crossbar and into the net to give them the lead (58').
In stoppage time, Arsenal is awarded another penalty, and Mandava is shown a yellow-red card. Saka steps up and coolly converts for the 2-0 final score (90'+7).
Arsenal thus consolidates their league lead. Sunderland suffers their second defeat and is 14th.
