Nik Prelec (25) secured his Polish club Jagiellonia's progression in the Europa League qualifiers against Glasgow Rangers with his 1-1 equalizer. This, following their 2-1 first-leg victory, guarantees the club at least a spot in the UEFA Conference League league phase.

Played for Tirol and Austria

Prelec made a permanent move from Oxford United to Poland in the summer, having previously played for WSG Tirol and Wiener Austria in Austria.

The Slovenian also couldn't resist a joke. In 2022, Rangers legend Ally McCoist joked against Celtic Glasgow after their elimination by Bodö/Glimt, quipping that Celtic was the first Scottish team to be knocked out by a Wi-Fi password.
