After some delay, Lech Poznań was finally able to start their journey to the Faroe Islands!

Today, Thursday, the second leg of the Europa League 3rd qualifying round between the Polish champions and KÍ Klaksvík was supposed to kick off at 7:00 PM. However, due to significant travel issues for the away team, the clash will be postponed to 9:45 PM, provided everything goes according to plan.

The club announced this on social media. An official confirmation is still pending.

Diversion to Bergen

On Wednesday, fog made landing impossible, and on Thursday, this was also initially unsuccessful. Consequently, the team was diverted to Bergen (NOR). According to an Instagram post, the team is now believed to be truly on its way.

Lech won the first leg 1-0.
