Spain Once Again U19 European Champion Against Germany
The Iberians kept a clean sheet throughout the entire tournament and claimed their tenth title overall.
The Spanish senior national team conceded their first goal at the 2026 World Cup on Friday against Belgium.
The U19 team, however, kept a clean sheet throughout the entire tournament at the U19 European Championship in Wales, thereby securing the title.
In the final on Saturday in Wrexham, the young "Furia Roja" won 2-0 against Germany. The decisive goals were scored by Hugo Lopez (44th minute) and Mario Rivas (48th minute).
After narrowly losing the final of the last European Championship in 2025 by 0-1 against the Netherlands, the record-holding winners from Spain have now secured their tenth U19 title overall.
