FC Barcelona celebrated a successful start to the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

The Catalans won 5-1 against Feyenoord at Camp Nou on the first matchday, with Raphinha scoring a brace (to the match report >>>).

However, it wasn't just the Brazilian, but also the rain that left its mark on the game. Especially in the opening minutes, heavy rainfall poured down over Barcelona.

Media Stand Flooded

This was noticed not only by the fans who sought shelter under umbrellas, but also by the journalists in the press area.

A Dutch journalist shared a video on "X", showing how the rain submerged a part of the media stand.

Construction is currently still ongoing at Camp Nou. The costs are reportedly now exceeding one billion Euros. The stadium currently does not yet have a roof. This is only expected to be installed by mid-next year.
