Apparent Initial All-Clear for BVB Youngster Karetsas

Borussia Dortmund can apparently breathe a sigh of relief regarding new signing Konstantinos Karetsas.

During the Champions League opener against Villareal, the 18-year-old caused moments of shock when he collapsed after 25 minutes and had to be stretchered off the field.

Dehydration as the Cause?

As reported by the Belgian newspaper "Het Laatste Nieuws", initial investigations may indicate the cause. Dehydration is reportedly the reason for the Greek's circulatory problems.

There is no confirmation from the club yet.

However, this should be a relief for Dortmund, as another new signing, Giannis Konstantelias, recently suffered a serious injury.
