Bereavement: Joshua Kimmich misses Bayern against Arsenal
The midfielder is not in the squad for today's Champions League match against Arsenal due to a bereavement.
Joshua Kimmich will be unavailable for FC Bayern Munich in today's Champions League home match against English champions FC Arsenal (from 9:00 PM CET in the LIVE ticker >>>).
"Due to a bereavement in his immediate family, Joshua Kimmich is not in the squad for today's match against Arsenal London," Bayern announced in a statement.
"On behalf of the family, we ask that you respect their privacy and grief and therefore refrain from further inquiries and reporting."
The club further writes: "In deep sympathy, the entire FC Bayern stands by Joshua Kimmich."
The 31-year-old Kimmich has not missed a single competitive match so far this season.
