The Salzburg club is apparently interested in a Moroccan player, but they are not the only ones.

After finishing third last season and three years without a title, FC Red Bull Salzburg, under new head coach Danny Röhl, wants to challenge at the very top again.

To achieve this, the club on the Salzach has already significantly strengthened its squad. Further transfers are by no means out of the question.

Schalke Also Interested

The latest trail leads to the Netherlands. According to "Soccernews.nl", FC Red Bull Salzburg has enquired about Younes Taha (23) from Twente Enschede.

The right winger is quite sought after following a strong loan spell at FC Groningen. Schalke 04, with Tyrolean coach Miron Muslic, is also showing interest.

Concrete Offers from Italy

Serie A club Frosinone has already submitted several offers, with the latest amounting to three million euros. However, Twente is still holding firm.

Furthermore, there have been contacts with an MLS club and a club from the Middle East.

Twente actually wants to benefit from the successful Groningen loan spell themselves. The issue, however, is likely that the winger only has one year left on his contract.

Market Value Soared During Loan

In 2023, he moved from PEC Zwolle to Twente for 1.2 million euros. Now, Taha could be sold profitably. Last season, his market value quadrupled from one million euros to four million euros.

He would bring 62 appearances in the top Dutch league with him to his new club, should a transfer materialize.
