Sturm reportedly pursuing Foda's protégé
The "Blackies" are said to be close to signing a player from the reigning Swiss champions.
Sturm Graz is reportedly close to signing Valmir Matoshi (23).
According to transfer insider Sacha Tavolieri from "Sky", a financial agreement has already been reached with the midfielder from Swiss champions FC Thun, who can be deployed flexibly in the center or on the wing. However, Thun and the "Blackies" have not yet agreed on a transfer fee.
Strong Stats and Successful First National Team Call-Up
Matoshi was a key figure in FC Thun's sensational championship title. In 34 appearances, he scored six goals and assisted four others.
Matoshi recently also became a Kosovo national team player. Former Sturm coach Franco Foda called up the 23-year-old for the first time in May and let him debut in the 1-2 loss against the Czech Republic.
A week later, Matoshi made another appearance against Andorra and also celebrated his first goal in a national team jersey.
