Salzburg interested in Hoffenheim midfielder
Following the departures of Mamady Diambou and Mads Bidstrup in central midfield, Salzburg is still looking for reinforcements.
Red Bull Salzburg is reportedly pursuing Umut Tohumcu (22) from TSG Hoffenheim.
The central midfielder was on loan to Holstein Kiel in the 2. Bundesliga last season. According to "kicker," Christian Ilzer's club wants to loan out the German a second time.
Salzburg is said to have been awarded the deal and also secured a purchase option.
Missed out on Zeitler
Sporting director Marcus Mann was also interested in Deniz Zeitler from Hoffenheim.
