WAC has promoted young defensive midfielder Michael Schweiger from the amateur squad to the professional team.
The 20-year-old, who completed his entire youth development at Wolfsberger, was most recently captain of WAC's second team in the Regionalliga. He can now take the next step, signing his first professional contract with the Bundesliga club.
