With Wawra: GAK Restructures Management

After his health-related break, Tino Wawra is gradually returning to GAK's operational area, effective immediately.

From October 1st, he will once again assume full sporting responsibility as Sports Director.

In recent weeks, Chief Scout Andreas Lienhart had temporarily handled the duties of the sporting management.

Lienhart will now fully refocus on scouting and squad planning, effective immediately, and as Chief Scout, he also remains primarily responsible for identifying and supporting development players.

Marco Perchtold Becomes Sports Board Member

For additional structural strengthening of sporting matters, Marco Perchtold will immediately take on the role of Sports Board Member.

The long-serving captain will in the future be responsible for the overall sporting development of the club.

In addition to the structural alignment of the professional sector, his focus will also be on the further development of youth, academy, and women's football.

Perchtold: "Knows What This Club Is All About"

Marco Perchtold on the new division of tasks: "I know GAK in all its facets and I know what makes this club special. Since the end of my career as an active player, I have already been able to take on various roles at the club. It is even better to now take on even more responsibility as Sports Board Member. Our goal is to sustainably develop the club together. I am very much looking forward to the close cooperation with Tino and Andi."
