Salzburg youngster sees himself at Real Madrid in five years
The youngster is compared to a Real star by his teammates.
New signing Bartosz Mazurek (19) has made a significant impact at FC Red Bull Salzburg. The Pole is considered a hot talent and is attracting numerous interest >>>
He now also shows confidence in an interview with "Red Bull Polska". Asked where he sees himself in five years, he states clearly: "I hope at Real Madrid."
That the path from Salzburg can lead to top clubs in the long term is no longer a secret. Karim Adeyemi's move from BVB to Barcelona in the summer is the latest example.
Comparison with Bellingham
For Mazurek, the Real dream is thus realistic: "The guys compare me to Bellingham – so why not?"
Despite recent successes, he doesn't want to get carried away. "Off the pitch, I try to be a normal guy – not arrogant, but simply someone who works hard. I am courageous and open-minded, but in everyday life, definitely calmer than I am during a game," says the 19-year-old.
Senior Team within Reach
He recently debuted for Poland's U21 national team, with media from his home country even partly demanding a call-up to the senior squad.
"My dream is definitely to play for the first team. I'm working hard to achieve this, and I believe – yes, I'm even sure – that it will happen in the near future," he adds confidently.
