The Austria icon discusses the current situation of the "Veilchen" at a roundtable discussion. Their tenth place in the table and upcoming matches worry him.

In the LAOLA1 format "Am Stammtisch bei Andy Ogris", the Austria Wien legend expresses concern about the state of "his" club.

After nine matchdays, Austria is already in deep trouble. With the defeat against SV Ried, they are in tenth place in the table and have only seven points from nine matches.

The league table situation could cause unrest among the Austrians. "I fear the worst," said Ogris.

In the next three matches - Altach (away), Hartberg (home in the Cup), and Rapid (home game) - Ogris demands points: "In truth, you have to get points in all matches. Against Altach and Rapid, you have to get maximum points. And against Hartberg, you have to advance to the next round."

Despite the currently difficult situation, the Austria legend also sees hope for the "Veilchen": "Stephan Helm has always managed to get them out of this slump."

Winless for over six years

On Friday, Austria faces eleventh-placed Altach in a bottom-of-the-table clash. Austria has not won away in the Ländle since June 30, 2020 (2-1 victory).

Andreas Ogris played 346 matches for Wiener Austria, scoring 124 goals. He won five championship titles and three cup titles with the Favoritner.
