Austria Wien extends contract with top talent

Vasilije Markovic (18) extends his contract until 2029. The U17 Vice World Champion from 2025 has already made 23 appearances (one goal and three assists) for the club's first team.

"The past few months have been an important step in my development. I grew up at Austria and made my way through the academy to the senior team here. My first experiences at this level have shown me how much potential I still have," said the 18-year-old.

Sporting Director Tomas Zorn said: "Vasilije Marković has impressively demonstrated his enormous potential in recent months and has already established himself in our senior team at a young age. He works extremely meticulously on his development and brings a profile with his dynamism, athleticism, and strength in duels that is also in demand at an international level."
