Lustenau celebrates friendly success against Swiss second-division side
The Bundesliga promoted side records their first win in their first friendly. Several new signings and two trialists also had the chance to show their skills.
Austria Lustenau secured a 2-0 victory against Swiss second-division side FC Wil in their first friendly match.
Haris Ismailcebioglu scored the first goal of the day shortly before halftime, and Seydou Diarra extended the lead to 2-0 after the break.
Coach Markus Mader changed the entire team after the break; before that, new signings Emmanuel Chukwu, Dion Kacuri, and Dominik Weixelbraun had the chance to show their skills. Additionally, the two trialists Tobias Gager and Benjamin Precious were also involved.
Friendly Against Young Boys Bern Scheduled
The promoted side will hold a training camp in Lech starting Sunday. On Wednesday (2:00 PM), they will also play a friendly against Young Boys Bern.
