Intense weeks await LASK, and new players on the injury list come at an inconvenient time. Here's how they're doing according to Didi Kühbauer.

LASK did not have an ideal start to the post-international break period in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, suffering a 0:2 home defeat. The Upper Austrians are now five points behind the league leaders from Vienna.

Thanks to the teams participating in the UEFA Champions League, a demanding schedule awaits the champions. In the next four weeks, there will be two matches each. Including the Rapid game, that makes nine matches in 28 days.

Usor and Bello out of contention for Liverpool match

Every injured player is even more inconvenient than usual. George Bello had to be substituted against Rapid.

He is likely not an option for Wednesday's highlight match against Liverpool. "A muscle injury was observed with George. That will definitely not work for Wednesday. I hope it's not a really severe muscle injury," is the initial assessment from head coach Didi Kühbauer.

Things don't look good for Moses Usor either; the Nigerian had to leave the field again twelve minutes after being substituted on.

"With Mo, his shoulder joint is somewhat damaged. I hope it doesn't take too long," explains the LASK coach.

Horvath should be fit

He is not worried about his captain Sascha Horvath; the midfielder recently left the ÖFB team due to injury. He played the full match against Rapid.

"The assistant coach spoke with him, and he didn't say that his thigh was a major issue. I assume it's not a problem," says Kühbauer.

Intense weeks await the Burgenlander. "Many games are coming up in the next few weeks, which can be very strenuous. With our squad situation, not many injured players should be added. As luck would have it, you have two injured players today," says the LASK coach.

The tasks will be anything but easy, but "who wouldn't want to play Champions League?"
