Juve and Atalanta also interested: Is a striker talent moving to SV Ried?
The Innviertel club apparently wants to strengthen its attack again. A young Croatian is expected to join on loan.
SV Ried is likely to reinforce its striker position again shortly after the Bundesliga season kicks off.
As "Oberösterreichischen Nachrichten" and "Bild" consistently report, Tino Kusanovic is on the verge of a move to the Innviertel region.
The 18-year-old Croatian is expected to reinforce the Upper Austrians on a loan basis. The young striker would come from the second team of 1. FC Nürnberg. The Nuremberg native is under contract with the "Club" until June 2029.
According to "Transfermarkt" information, Atalanta Bergamo and Juventus Turin are also said to have registered their interest in addition to Ried. However, the Bundesliga club is reportedly winning the race.
Great Talent
Kusanovic recently participated with Croatia in the U19 European Championship, where they reached the semi-finals.
During the tournament, the 1.87-meter-tall attacker made four appearances, starting in three matches. He also provided one assist.
Last year, Kusanovic won the championship title in the Regionalliga Bayern with Nürnberg II, contributing eight goals. However, FCN decided against promotion to the 3. Liga, partly due to infrastructural issues.
In the season before that, the attacker played for the U17 team, for which he scored 27 goals in 22 games. This makes him Nürnberg's record goalscorer in this age group.
