Edmund Baidoo has for some time been linked with a move from FC Red Bull Salzburg to Club Brugge. Sporting director Marcus Mann recently made it clear on "Sky": "He will not leave the club. Contracts must be adhered to and respected. If a transfer is to happen, both sides must agree, and we will not do that. There will be no transfer."

The young attacker was surprisingly absent from the squad against TSV Hartberg (1:0), as he was "not fully focused". According to "Salzburger Nachrichten", the attacking player reportedly tried to force a transfer by boycotting training during the week.

Is the Deal Still on the Table?

He apparently hasn't given up the idea of moving to Brugge, as transfer insider Sacha Tavolieri also reports. Salzburg has reportedly already blocked the third offer, amounting to ten million euros.

However, the deal is not entirely off the table yet. Baidoo, in particular, is strongly advocating for it. The 20-year-old still has three years remaining on his contract in Salzburg and a market value of eight million euros. In 2024, Salzburg transferred 3.3 million euros for him to Sogndal (Norway).
