Official: Salzburg sells forward to Hoffenheim

Adam Daghim leaves FC Red Bull Salzburg and moves to the German Bundesliga to TSG Hoffenheim. Both teams made the transfer official late Sunday evening.

The Bulls reportedly receive 13 million euros for the 20-year-old Dane, with Daghim signing a long-term contract with TSG until 2031.

Arrived in Salzburg in 2023

The attacker arrived in Salzburg from Aarhus in the summer of 2023.

There, he earned his first stripes as a cooperation player at FC Liefering. He then made the jump to FC Red Bull Salzburg, where he recorded six goals and five assists in 57 matches.

The attacker was already on loan to Germany in the past second half of the season, playing for VfL Wolfsburg, who were later relegated from the Bundesliga.

After his return to Salzburg, Daghim had already stated that "a move to one of Europe's top leagues was a priority for him," says Sporting Director Marcus Mann.

"For us too, this proved to be the best and most sensible solution, which has now resulted in this lucrative transfer to TSG Hoffenheim," says the German.

Daghim says: "My time at FC Red Bull Salzburg was exciting and very instructive. I came as a very young player to a new country and a new league, where I had a lot to learn. I think I succeeded quite well overall."

TSG's Desired Player

TSG Sporting Director Andreas Schicker emphasizes: "Adam is a young, talented player, and with his skills and enormous speed, he was the clear desired player for the profile we were looking for."

"At just 20 years old, he possesses great development potential and can already draw upon international experience at club level and with the national team," says Schicker.
