Wiener Austria wins friendly doubleheader against second-division teams
The Violets gain confidence for the upcoming UECL qualifying match in just under two weeks.
A successful Saturday for Wiener Austria!
FK Austria Wien, who finished fourth in the last Bundesliga season, played two friendly matches on Saturday as part of a mini-tournament against clubs from the ADMIRAL 2. Liga.
Both matches lasted 60 minutes each. First, SKN St. Pölten was defeated 2-0. All goals were scored after the break. Matteo Schablas (54') and striker Johannes Eggestein (58') scored within just four minutes for the Violets.

Draw for Vienna against QPR
Second-division side First Vienna FC also played a friendly on Saturday. Fans at Hohe Warte welcomed a prominent opponent in Queens Park Rangers.
However, the spectators saw no goals. The two teams played out a goalless draw.
