Austria celebrates clear friendly win over Hungarian top-flight club

Austria Wien clearly defeated Hungarian top-flight club Paksi FC 4:1 in their final friendly before the start of the season.

Helm's side took the lead after 16 minutes through Saljic, Fischer extended it after the break (52'), but the Hungarians pulled one back shortly after (54').

Wels restored the two-goal advantage (64'), and new signing Hettwer sealed the final score with his first goal for the "Violets" (67').

The "Violets"' first competitive match is scheduled for next Thursday at 5 PM. Their away game against Latvian club FK Liepaja awaits them in the Conference League qualifiers.
