Parensen: "Satisfactory Solution Found"

We are glad to have "now found a satisfactory solution for all parties with this transfer. We wish Emanuel all the best for his future career and thank him for his commitment to SK Sturm over the past two years," says sporting director Michael Parensen.

Aiwu: Thanks Despite "Disruptions"

Despite all the "disruptions in recent weeks – where some issues were also exaggerated by the media more than they actually were – I would like to thank Sturm Graz and all those responsible at the club for the past two years," Aiwu is quoted as saying.

"There were ups and downs, but especially with the Champions League matches and the championship title, we were able to celebrate great successes together. I am now pleased that this transfer came about and I wish everyone at SK Sturm much success for the upcoming season," the defender continued.

This is already Aiwu's second adventure abroad. He first ventured abroad in 2022, playing for Cremonese in Italy and Birmingham City in England, before returning to Austria in 2024 and signing with Sturm.
