After Legal Intervention: Aiwu Back in Team Training

Emanuel Aiwu is allowed to participate in SK Sturm Graz's team training again.

This was announced by the players' union VdF. Aiwu had not been training with SK Sturm's professionals since the start of training on June 17; he had to complete an individual program with the second team.

The VdF applied to the Regional Court for Civil Matters Graz for an interim injunction and submitted an application to the Bundesliga.

Contract until 2028 in Graz

"If a club's measures aim to pressure a player into a transfer or an early contract termination, we believe this falls into the realm of bullying and discrimination," VdF chairman Gernot Baumgartner is quoted as saying in a press release.

Aiwu has been in Graz since summer 2024, but plays no role in coach Fabio Ingolitsch's plans. His contract runs until 2028.
