Coaching effect for Vienna Austria?

Just three days after the dismissal of Stephan Helm (read more here >>>), the struggling Violets hope for a liberating win in the Austrian Cup round of 16 against TSV Hartberg (from 6 PM in the live ticker >>>).

New head coach Maximilian Uhlig will be on the sideline for the first time. The 33-year-old will take over the first team on an interim basis until the end of the year. Previously, he was with the Young Violets in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga, with the youth team currently holding a strong third place.

Austria fans are unlikely to have fond memories of a Cup home match against Hartberg. They were defeated 0-1 at home by the East Styrians in the semi-final of the Austrian Cup 2024/25.
