After Retirement: New Role for Gernot Trauner
The former central defender takes on a new challenge. His first assignment is already scheduled for Saturday.
Just two weeks ago, Gernot Trauner announced his retirement as a professional footballer at the age of 34 (read more here >>>).
Now, a new role awaits the 16-time international. For this, Trauner returns to Linz, where he was under contract until 2021.
On Saturday, he will be on duty for "Sky" as a pitchside expert when his former club LASK Linz faces Altach (at 19:30 in the LIVE ticker >>>).
It is still unclear whether this is a long-term role or a one-off appearance.
