Win or go home – Austria must prevail against co-favourite Spain in the World Cup Round of 16. This XI aims to achieve the impossible:
Can Austria pull off a big surprise against Spain in the World Cup Round of 16? The answer will be revealed from 9 PM – in the LIVE ticker >>> and the LIVE Watchparty >>>
For this almost impossible task, head coach Ralf Rangnick is changing his starting XI (partly out of necessity).
Phillipp Mwene cannot play due to muscular problems; he is replaced by Konrad Laimer, who moves back to left-back. Paul Wanner, in turn, is rotated into the team.
In attack, Michael Gregoritsch starts this time instead of Marko Arnautovic. In central defence, Kevin Danso plays again this time instead of Philipp Lienhart.
Otherwise, the red-white-red XI is the same as at the start of the Algeria match.
