SKU Amstetten strengthens with Bundesliga talent
Attacking player Yannick Vötter leaves WSG Tirol and moves to the 2. Liga in Lower Austria.
The 21-year-old Yannick Vötter is leaving his home province of Tyrol for the first time in his professional career, moving to Mostviertel.
Vötter has so far made 36 appearances for WSG in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. 20 of these came last season, always as a substitute. Amstetten's Sports Director Thomas Gebauer is pleased with the new signing:
"With Yannick Vötter, we have been able to sign a player who brings a very exciting profile and adds additional quality and even more unpredictability to our offense. His versatility is a big plus: Yannick can be deployed in all attacking positions, but can also make important contributions in the center. Furthermore, he already has valuable experience at Bundesliga level."
The young attacking player is also looking forward to a new chapter in his career. "I decided to make the move to embark on a new path. The discussions with the sports director and coach were very good, and I see the best opportunity here to develop further. For the season, my goal is to help the team succeed with good performances."
