Initially in a Dual Role

Riepl will remain sports coordinator at Blau-Weiß Linz until November 15. After that, he will exclusively serve as team manager until December 15, before the collaboration concludes.

During this transition period, the 46-year-old will handle the organizational processes for the first team. At his new club, however, he will take over as Managing Director on November 16, primarily responsible for strategic and economic matters.

"Long-term Perspective"

"The past few weeks have been marked by numerous changes for our club. It is all the more important now to re-establish clear structures and create a long-term perspective. With Ronald Riepl, we have found a very good solution for this. We look forward to the collaboration and want to consistently continue on the chosen path together," says Wolfgang Nöstlinger, President of FC Hertha Wels.
