Blau-Weiß Linz Snaps Up Attacker
Head coach Michael Köllner can look forward to a countryman. For the Linz side, the goal is to return to the ADMIRAL Bundesliga.
New signing at FC Blau-Weiß Linz!
Jacob Collmann (25) joins the club from German regional league side FCA Walldorf and signs for one year with an option for a further season. The centre-forward scored five goals in 24 appearances in the Regionalliga Südwest last season.
"With Jacob, we get a striker profile that we don't have yet. His pace and depth add another dimension to our attack," said sporting director Christop Schößwendter.
Impressed as a Trialist
The new man impressed during a trial week. "We had been looking for a long time for the last vacant position in our attack. Jacob trained with us for a week and also showed his quality in the friendly against Red Star Belgrade. From the start, I was impressed by his character, his physicality, as well as the directness, toughness, and depth in his game," explained head coach Michael Köllner.
The Linz side finished their pre-season undefeated and aim to return to the ADMIRAL Bundesliga after relegation.
