After falling behind: Sturm II with a dominant home win against Rapid II

Sturm Graz II clearly wins the ADMIRAL top match of the fifth LigaZwa round against Rapid II with a score of 5:2.

The Styrians fall behind early at 0:1 against the Young Hütteldorfers after a goal by Nicolas Jozepovic (8').

Julian Halwachs (41'), Wisler Lazarre (45'), Niklas Lang (71'), Mate Grgic (80'), and Kelechi Nnamdi (86') score for the Styrians. Jozepovic scores the final goal, making it 2:5 for the Green-Whites (90'+4).

Sturm turns the game around before halftime

After a quick start, the visitors celebrate the opening goal. Jozepovic only had to tap in a low cross from Music to make it 1:0 for Rapid II (8').

Subsequently, chances were scarce, but Sturm II gained momentum before halftime. Lang failed to convert his shot to the near post against Rapid goalkeeper Göschl (39'). Shortly after, Halwachs scored the equalizer, making it 1:1, with a header from a free-kick (41').

And with the halftime whistle, the game was turned around: Lazarre artistically chipped the ball over Göschl into the net to make it 2:1 (45'). Moments before, Halwachs' shot only hit the crossbar.

Grazers dominate second half

In the second half, virtually only Sturm II played. After one or two missed chances, Lang extended the lead to 3:1 after an assist from Halwchas (71').

The Rapid defense subsequently conceded a lot, with the Grazers increasing their lead to 5:1 through Grgic (80') and Nnamdi (86').

However, a Rapid player scored the final goal: Jozepovic scored his second goal in injury time, making it 2:5 for the Green-Whites (90'+4).

After the home win, Sturm II stands in tenth place in the table with six points. Rapid II also has six points and is twelfth.
